This is Marlee's 6th year with FHSSDT, but her 2nd year being head coach.
Marlee began swimming at the age of 7, where she swam for the Northside YMCA and PACK. She then continued her career at Central High School, where she broke multiple school records and holds them to this day. Coach Marlee received a scholarship to swim at King College before a shoulder injury prematurely ended her career. Since then, she has coached for Jefferson County Swim Club, Emerald Youth Foundation, and Cherokee Country Club.
Coach Marlee was born and raised in Knoxville and lives with her husband, Matt, and two bluetick hounds, Neyland and Gracie. They absolutely love traveling & sports, especially baseball, so you'll catch them at Vols Baseball or Yankees games. In her free time, Coach Marlee loves to read (librarian, duh), work out, and watch Top Gun.
